HORROR

  2. Thanks! For a moment, I thought this was something else... but, no, I already have this one (and the 2nd issue as well-- from the "Rock Quadrinhos Scans" blog).

Most of the material in HORROR #1-2 was low-rent, poor quality and in at least one instanct, SICK and disturbing... but "The Oblong Box" adaptation was a CLASS act. It'll be some time before I tackle it (still working on stories from 1968 at the moment).

However, they did a couple of "MIRZA A MULHER VAMPIRO" books-- i forget if they were new or reprints. But anything with Eugenio Colonnese automatically comes up a few notches.

The "Quadri Brasil" blog does have a number of "Press" books posted-- "MUNDO DO TERROR", "SPEKTROS" (the revival), and "AGENT COBRA" (based on the Stallone character).

If I recall rightly, I first ran across "HORROR #1" in the same blog article that mentioned O Livreiro's "TERROR ILUSTRADO #1" (1970), which had "Amontillado" by Edmundo Rodrigues. THAT book has eluded me for almost a year since I learned of its existence!

    1. Okay Henry, but anyway, I'll be careful and I'll post the adjustments or sending you any Poe material, which is finding.
True, Horror magazine really did not bring much material quality as well as being very popular in newsprint as Americans pulps.
Tell me Hanry, you have already achieved this story of Amotilado, illustrated by Edmundo Rodrigues?
Continue to follow the "Bank", I'm always posting new material.

  3. Nope, that one has not turned up. I've seen a few of his stories from "TERROR ILUSTRADO" turn up as reprints in other books, like "SOBRENATURAL" (Vecchi) and "ALMANAQUE DO TERROR" (Bloch).

I'm slowly compiling my own indexes of not only the books I download, but also of certain artists I like.
