  1. This was supposed to be published in 1967, but the financial backer backed out. 14 years later, it finally saw the light of day. Eugenio Colonnese's beautiful adaptation of "Morella" (based not on the Poe story, but on the Roger Corman version in the film "TALES OF TERROR") sat around for 14 years before finally being published here. (No less than 3 different comics artists did versions of that Vincent Price film-- George Evans, Flavio Colin, and Colonnese!)

    Although Editora D-Arte had NO connection to Editora Continental, I like to think of it as the "spiritual" successor, as both comapnies were started by a pair of artists. In this case, Colonnese & Rodolfo Zalla.

    Congratulations on your knowledge of the history of Brazilian publishers, your statements are correct.
    We could see in this way that Editora D'Art was the successor of the late Editora Outubro.
